Fine for a week, difficult for a month

by Rainelle 2024-11-15

3/5

Unit was clean and well lit, including lamps for evening (though I think warmer bulbs would help), bed and pillows were excellent, couch was serviceable. The cleaning service was very thorough and appreciated! Plenty of outlets, and hangers. Property management was also quick with mail and any issues. Suggestions: those kitchen sinks are very difficult to wash pots and pans in if the tenant is cooking. My unit did not come with scissors, baking sheets, a 12 inch pan, a whisk, or a grater, all of which I consider pretty basic cooking tools. The knives were also incredibly dull — I found it easier to purchase these things for myself than potentially argue their necessity with a property manager. Tupperware would be a nice addition for leftovers or bulk cooking. I understand the buildings are older, but updating the heating and cooling systems would go a long way toward making the apartments more modern feeling. The stairs up to the rear building are uneven, sinking into the soil, and the lowest steps are poorly lit at night creating a tripping hazard (everything else is well lit, which is why it was so noticeable).

TeamBCA Respons: We really appreciated all your candid feedback. We learn so much about the apartments from our reviews and it helps us to know what areas we need to fix or improve. As soon as your review came in, we checked all the walkways at night and found the light that was out by the stairs. It’s been fixed along with a few other stairwells in that building. We have also begun to track down all the dull knives. We always have spares on hand, as well as additional cookware. I know you said you found it easier to purchase your own. But you are always welcome to ask, and we will see what we can provide. Because the needs of guests vary so much and there is such limited space, we try not to add too much clutter.

These apartments are perfectly located and well appointed. Very comfortable, quiet and easy to walk to dinner or the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this property !

Clean and Comfortable

by Deborah 2024-02-28

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. I loved the kitchenette. Good wifi. Would have happily stayed longer. My only suggestion is to let people know in advance if they will be staying in apartment that requires climbing many stairs to get there (with luggage). I didn't see this in any of the documents I received in advance, and while I was able to manage, others might not be able to.

Team BCA Response: Thank you so much for your kind words about our place. We're thrilled to hear that you loved the kitchenette and found the Wi-Fi to be good. We're sorry if the stairs caught you off guard, but we're glad you were able to manage. Next time, just let us know in advance and we'll try our best to accommodate you on a ground-level apartment.

Will Definitely Be Back

by Kamaya 2023-11-09

Team BCA response: Thanks so much for your positive review, Kamaya! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at BCA. We hope you'll stay with us again if you're ever in Atlanta.

by Julie 2023-10-11

I am so grateful that I came across BCA for my long-term work projects in Atlanta. This is my 4th stay and every apartment has been excellent. Everything from the room to your cooking items are clean and in superior condition. Every time I have spoken with Michael Mize - he has been thoughtful and considerate. It is obvious that they care about their guests - excellent customer service seems to be a cornerstone of this HIDDEN GEM!

Team BCA Response: Thanks so much, Julie! We are so glad you've enjoyed your stay with us. Our team works hard to ensure each guest experience is as comfortable and harmonious as possible. We love getting customer feedback, as it helps us shape our services to better suit our guests' needs. Our team looks forward to welcoming you back the next time you're in town.

Close to Everything

by Courtney 2023-09-11

4/5

This is a cozy studio complex close to everything downtown. When we arrived, everything was nice and clean. The property is well kept. The rules and requirements were all laid out and they had pretty much everything we needed to have a nice stay. My only problem is that there were so many stairs. I have a bad knee and the stairs really took it out of me.

Team BCA review: Thank you for your review, Courtney! We are glad to hear that you found your apartment to be cozy, clean, and well-kept. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our guests' experience.

We loved staying here at this very cute place! The only reason for the 4 stars is the AC seemed to struggle at times!

Great stay at BCA apartment!

by Guy 2023-05-18

This was a terrific alternative to a conventional hotel for a few days’ stay in Atlanta. The apartment was clean, modern, comfortable, and had everything needed! I particularly enjoyed the roomy shower. The furnished studio apartment was larger than typical hotel rooms, making my time in the room very nice.

Team BCA Response: We're thrilled to hear that our alternative to a conventional hotel made your stay in Atlanta terrific. It's great to know that the apartment was clean, modern, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you needed. We're glad you enjoyed the roomy shower and appreciated the extra space provided by the furnished studio apartment. We aim to make your time in the room as enjoyable as possible. Fantastic Stay!

by Gregory 2023-05-11

The place is super clean and comfortable! BCA staff is always easy to get in contact with and leave plenty of instructions how to best utilize the space. The cleaning staff keep the studio looking fresh and beautiful once a week, this really makes an extended stay feel luxurious.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for your review! We are thrilled to hear that you found our space clean and comfortable, and that our staff was easy to get in contact with. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to see you again soon!

Good

by Yuetong 2023-03-22

The experience was excellent. The place is quiet and peaceful. Although the floor was not clean enough, and there is no toothbrush or slippers without asking, the kitchen facilities are great, and the bed is comfortable.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for staying with BCA Furnished Apartments here in Atlanta. We enjoyed hosting you during your travels. We appreciate the review and feedback you provided to us. We will discuss in our next management meeting what we can do to provide essential travel necessities for future guest. The toothbrush is a great idea. Thank you for the suggestion. We are glad you found our kitchen to be stocked with the necessities and the bed was comfortable. Please let me know if there is anything in the future I can assist you with.

Trip to Atlanta due to hurricane Ian

by Madison 2022-10-19

I had such a nice stay at the BCA apartments. I live in Florida and at the last minute decided to go to Atlanta to escape the hurricane. The apartment is located in the cutest neighborhood and I had such nice mornings walking my dog. It’s very safe and the management is extremely responsive if you need anything. I had an issue with my dead lock and they fixed it the same day. I would definitely stay here again!

TeamBCA Response: We are glad that you decided to escape the hurricane and stay with us. One of our favorite parts about this neighborhood is the walking trails and dog parks. Teddy must have really enjoyed his vacation! We make a point of fixing situations (such as a door lock malfunction) as quickly as possible and appreciate that you noticed. All the best to you and the furballs!

Another Business Trip to Atlanta

by Sid 2022-08-10

Great value and location again! Stay here every time we are in this part of Atlanta.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for continuing to choose BCA Furnished Apartments. We are so happy to see your reservations come through. We look forward to the next!

BCA review

by Ethan 2022-06-21

Everything clean, got everything I needed, easy to communicate with the staff.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for staying with us. We are glad to hear that you and your family had a lovely time with BCA Furnished Apartments.

Very good, need more paper products!

by Jen 2022-06-08

Liked my stay a lot. I ran out of paper products (tissues, toilet paper) because very little was provided. I was working crazy hours and unable to coordinate with the property management during available hours. Also, on my last morning, a giant roach crawled across my floor and I realized there were no means of insect dispatch in the unit. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for staying with us while you were in town for work. We know that many of our guests are busy here, which is why we are onsite during the day to help with any needs. We are reachable by text as well and that is a easy way to get ahold of us to let us know you need something. Each stay should start with 2 rolls of toilet paper, and they are replenished weekly. I apologize if that was not the case for you. Each property is treated for insects and bugs every 3 months, and we can perform spot treatments on request. The south is beautiful in the Spring, but it does bring its challenges with insects. I hope he didn’t disrupt you too much.

Rich & Greg's Review

by Richard 2022-05-25

Love your studio apartments. They are perfect for us with the dog. They are clean, convinient location, easy parking and all the necessary items to enjoy a stress free stay. We have stayed at the 20th Street units approx. ten times and have never had a problem. Thank you for having great prices and allowing pets.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for continuing to choose BCA Furnished Apartments on your trips through Atlanta. We are so glad to know that we continue to impress you each time you stay with us. We look forward to your next visit.

A Weekend in Atlanta

by Erroll 2022-05-17

Team BCA Response: Thank you for your review. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again!

Midtown interlude

by Donna 2022-04-07

I was anxious at first, but felt very safe in my apartment in the back. Jaime also placed me near a grassy area and my pup could lay in the sun on nice days! My oven door was a bit difficult to close, so I would check that. Maid service was terrific!! Any help needed was attended to promptly.

Team BCA Response: It looks like you go to really enjoy our neighborhood from a night at the Opera to walking around the Beltline. We are so happy to provide a safe and quiet space for all our guests and their furry friends. Thank you for all your feedback about your stay and our housekeepers. They were delighted to hear how much you enjoyed their service.

TG Review

by Teresa 2022-02-08

Great place to stay in Atlanta! Convenient location and great service.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for choosing BCA Furnished Apartments during your stay in Atlanta. We are grateful to be so close to the hospital and are glad to help those in need of housing while they are in town.

Super nice, clean and amazingly quite

by Mark 2021-12-23

Great place to arrive too after a long drive. We were pleased with the apartment and was amazed at the quite surroundings. For being in downtown Atlanta parking was awesome and the location is again amazing. Can't say enough about the value in staying at BCA. We'll be back soon. Thanks also to the staff for the clean and comfortable bath and bedding.

Team BCA Response: Thank you so much for your kind review! We are so grateful to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. It looks like you really enjoyed your time while you were here in Atlanta. The Botanical Gardens are very beautiful this time of year with the lights all done up.

Great Stay

by Terry 2021-11-16

This small studio apartment is a great alternative to a hotel for any length of stay. Nice quiet neighborhood with great access to major roads and the city. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Team BCA Response: Thank you so much for staying with us and for your recommendation! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us so much.

Good location BUT …..

by Richard 2021-10-06

The AC in my unit was not working properly . I had 4 sleepless nights due to the humidity in the room . I was out the entire day due to business but once I got back in the evening I regretted my stay . Management supposedly fixed the issue but it felt the same I was just too tired to complain with one day left . Room is much smaller than advertise . If you’re in town and don’t care about sleeping in high 70s at night this is a good spot , but if youre comfortable in 70 degrees or lower . Go some where else

Team BCA Response: We are truly sorry about the AC unit in your studio during your stay. When I went left your studio it was blowing out 68-degree air and I believed that it was resolved. After your review came in, I immediately went back to see what happened. Between the time I resolved the issue and you returned home that day; the AC unit failed again. We dug even deeper into the issue and have identified the failing sensor and have scheduled the repair.

I know this explanation will not make your stay more comfortable, but I would like to offer my sincere apologies. We always want to exceed our guest’s expectations and I am disappointed that I was not able to do this for you.

Thank you for your stay with BCA and I hope you had a safe journey to your next destination.

Moving to Atlanta Trip

by Hussam 2021-03-30

The property is clean, check in and out is smart and painless, keep up the good work!

Team BCA Response: Welcome to Atlanta. Thank you for choosing to stay with us while you were waiting for your new home to be ready.

Satisfied customer.

by Carl 2021-03-22

Refrigerator/freezer not cooling, my ice cream was just cream. Outside of that I enjoyed the updated bath

Team BCA Response: Thank you for that feedback. I am sorry we could not fix the freezer during your brief stay, but we have resolved it since! Next time you come back, we can keep that ice cream cold to perfection! As always we enjoy and appreciate your repeat stays with BCA.

Served me well

by Beverley 2021-03-02

I stayed at BCA while during my condo renovations. It is a quick 10 minute drive away so I was able to get to my condo easily if an issue arose with my contractor. It's an excellent location and great neighborhood. Office and maintenance staff were friendly and helpful. The units were clean and well equipped. However, they definitely can use an update. There were rust stains around the door into bathroom and the unit needs a good painting. The linens and towels were clean, but shabby, and the pillows are worn. Overall, it was clean, safe and comfortable enough, but a refresh would make it even better!

Team BCA Response: Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and our amenities. We are constantly making improvements and upgrading our units. Thank you for your constructive feedback. With the humidity of Atlanta, we are constantly battle rust and paint upgrades.

LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS IN ATL WITHOUT THE COST

by Tim 2020-04-15

BCA is your best bet for accommodations when visiting Atlanta. Not only is it in the perfect location, but the customer service is on par with the most exclusive & luxurious hotels. I highly recommend them!

Team BCA Response:
Tim you are right! We are located right in the heart of Midtown. We are just minutes away from some of Atlanta’s best offerings. We love to walk to Piedmont Park to hop on the Beltline for a walk around the city. Our property management team handles each stay with a high attention to detail and care for the best experience possible. Thank you for your stay and we hope to see you again soon.

by Sarah (Airbnb) 2019-08-18

In the past 90 days I spent more nights staying in their Airbnb units than I did at my own house. The location was excellent. The units are stocked up and clean. The guys are so quick to respond and give awesome directions if anything comes up. They made it easy for me to feel comfortable and safe. Couldn’t be happier that I found them on Airbnb and am referring everyone to them that travel to Atlanta.

by Colin (Airbnb) 2019-09-22

This is my 3rd time staying here. This place never disappoints. I stay when taking 2 day Bladesmithing classes, and am exhausted when I arrive. I never have any worries and get a great night's rest. They are the go to spot for me!

by Lisa (Airbnb) 2019-03-03

I'm a flight attendant and I have traveled around the world to over 36 countries and stayed in many Airbnb places. There has been only a few places, I can say that have provided everything an Airbnb place should have and then some. This place was hands down very clean, neat, organized, spelled out instructions on how to use the TV, with the parking set-up, and even on how to leave the place. And the location was central to many different places within the city of Atlanta! Even when I read in the description that this place had stairs to climb I thought "oh no" but really 5 to 10 steps to the different floors was no big deal (this place is only 2 levels). :) The street parking is in a good neighborhood and it's in a very quiet area which we loved! I will definitely be back to stay here again and recommend it to be the 1st place for others to check-out when staying in Atlanta. Thank you for providing a wonderful stay.

by Aurellio (Airbnb) 2019-05-04

Thoroughly enjoyed my nights stay. Excellent location and exceptional communication!

by Colin (Airbnb) 2019-06-16

This location is absolutely a great place to rest and recharge. Always clean and welcoming, this was my 2nd stay and would not hesitate to book again.

by Samuel (Airbnb) 2019-06-29

A Great place to stay; clean, convenient, easy to find. Good walk to Midtown and places to eat. The hosts are friendly and make you as your are at home.

by Jaici (Booking.com) 2018-03-09

The property is set back off a nice quiet road so outside noise is very minimal. When you walk into to studio you can see and feel that everything has been well thought of and laid out. The bed was large and comfortable, the kitchen area has everything provided (utensils, cutlery, cleaning supplies, cooker, microwave, refrigerator. A nice little seating area for at least 5 people as well as a dining area. The bathroom added an extra bit of class to and already well presented studio apartment There is also a laundry room for all guests Although I didn’t get to meet the hosts, they make all of their information available for you should you need to get in contact with them and they are close by to the property so they are very accessible should there be any issue.

by Alfredo (Expedia) 2018-07-11

The unit was immaculate, clean, with all amenities needed and in a great location. The check-in and check-out processes are very clear and seamless.

by Randal (Hotels.com) 2018-08-05

Second stay. Just as great as the first! Wonderful location. Fantastic customer service. The online check in process can be challenging for the non-tech savvy but it beats standing and waiting in line at a hotel front desk.

by Brian (Airbnb) 2019-05-12

While the check in and check out process can be a bit tedious and cumbersome, this place was well worth it and was great bang for the buck! We loved the location and proximity to great restaurants, bars, and fun things to do in the nearby area. The place was clean, comfortable, and maintained by thoughtful, personable hosts who were kind and effective communicators!

by Sarah (Airbnb) 2019-06-19

These studios are perfect! They have enough space and comfy to feel like you’re in your own actual apartment. Yet they’re small enough to feel efficient. While the oven is small and adorable the shower is huge! It was far better then what I’d except from any studio apartment. The space was clean and any questions I had were responded to very fast. I already know I have another trip to Atlanta in the next month and you better believe I already booked another stay here!

by Cherie (Airbnb) 2019-06-23

This was my very first Airbnb experience and I was blown away! This team was extremely responsive every time I hit them up! All of my requests were pretty last minute, but they got me all set every time and with a smile! The space was modern, super clean and easy to get to. The communication was always on point! Even though this was my first Airbnb experience, any time I go back to ATL, I will only go wherever Nic, Alex and David are because their service has to be tough to beat!
