Not as enjoyable as my last stay.

by Soni 2025-01-10

3/5

Response from BCA is prompt however there were some issues with the apartment that I didn’t experience during my last stay. I can understand how it would be difficult to address these issues during our stay as it was the Christmas holiday. The fan for the air/heat was loud as I experienced last time, however this time we weren’t able to turn it off. It feeds out directly into the living room and can be fairly disruptive to watching tv and general conversation. But it is nothing compared to the (clothes) washing machine. That sounds like a jet engine and we suspect is an issue with the bearings. This was the worst issue with the apartment this time. There’s no getting around this; you can’t shut a door to block it and it does make watching tv (without subtitles) impossible, and there’s no conversation that can occur either, as it runs through the cycle. I thought for sure people would complain but perhaps we didn’t share any walls with anyone so no one was bothered? The apartment experience was best for my reason of being in Atlanta (medical) so I still find BCA a better option than a hotel but these were big issues for me and my family. We already notified BCA but our kitchen floor was sticky and that seemed to spread out into the living areas. A suggestion I have, and this is related solely to my reason for being there (medical) and it’s proximity to the hospital, would be to have a recliner available. In summary, this is a fantastic resource for those visiting Atlanta for medical reasons and the folks at BCA are wonderful to work with. But my recent visit was clouded by the insanely loud washer along with the air/heat fan.(Note: their was no drain board under the sink so we used a towel for the last few dishes to dry on)

Team BCA Response: We are disappointed that your stay was not as enjoyable as the last. We appreciate your feedback and we have looked into all the issues that you brought up. We are aware of the limitations of the fan in our Brookwood Apartments and unfortunately you are correct, there is not a way around that. Our Spectacular 1-bedroom apartments have quieter air handling systems if that would interest you for your next visit.

We are sorry that we could not service the washer before the end of your stay. After the holiday we were able to look at the washer and dryer and it turns out the whole set will need to be replaced. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have a new set on it’s way now.

Thank you again for choosing BCA Furnished Apartments for your stay in Atlanta and we are glad to hear that you otherwise found your stay enjoyable. We love the idea of a recliner for the apartments. It would be a great way to make all our guests staying with us for medical reasons more comfortable.

We booked this location to stay while working on a project in the area for a client. It was great to have a host who was so attentive and have the comforts of home while away from home.

TeamBCA Response: Hey Kali! Thanks so much for the review. So happy you enjoyed your stay. It was great having you as a guest. Can't wait to host you again next time you're in Atlanta.

Perfect for Friends

by Linda 2024-08-19

We stayed with a good friend in order to see some of Atlanta's highlights. But it wa so nice to come back to the apartment after a long day of sightseeing, sit in the living room and chat about everything we'd seen and learned. Super clean, super well-equipped, super comfy. Our go-to spot for visits to Atlanta.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for your amazing review! We are so happy to hear you had a great time in Atlanta and enjoyed your stay with BCA Furnished Apartments. Glad you found the apartment clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We cannot wait to have you back as our guest!

Clean and modern

The bedrooms were nice sizes. My daughter complained that we couldn't adjust the air conditioning enough, and it was too warm. Being so close to the railroad and its horns was a little disruptive.

Team BCA Response: Thank you for your review, Sarah! We are glad to hear that you were pleased with the bedroom sizes. We apologize for the difficulty you experienced in adjusting the air conditioning. We have taken steps to ensure that all our guests can adjust the air conditioning to their comfort levels. We understand that being so close to the railroad can be disruptive and we apologize for the disturbance. We strive to ensure that all our guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. If you have any feedback, do not hesitate to reach out to us. We hope to welcome you back soon.

Great location. Don’t like the upper floor noise when people walk , very annoying

TeamBCA Response: Thank you for your review. If you happen to stay with us in the future, feel free to request a top-floor apartment so that you would not have any upper-floor noise.

Great Stay

by Taylor 2020-08-08

Our stay was very great!!! Very clean & comfortable place. Had a issue with front door not opening. Our host fixed the issue within minutes, which was very impressive. Could place washing detergent somewhere (not a complaint just a suggestion). Overall I love the stay !!

Team BCA Response:
It was a pleasure serving you and your guests. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and being so open with us. I'm glad you felt we were impressed with our resolution to the issue with your door. Thank you for your suggestion. Our 2-bedrooms do have an in-unit washer and dryer. While we do not currently supply detergent, if you are ever in need, please give us a call and we can help you out.

In a good area close to a lot of things. Seemed like a safe neighborhood. Only noise was the train which wasn’t bad. No problems with our stay.

Team BCA Response:
Our properties are located right in Midtown with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the rest of Atlanta. The Amtrak station is located nearby and trains do run in the area. Thank you for your stay and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed it as well.

by Demetrious (HomeAway) 2017-05-10

It is a really nice place. The furniture was fairly comfortable and well spaced and placed. This place is close to most of the sites you would like to see in Atlanta. Once we found it we unpacked and began exploring the city. The kitchen was nicely put together. The towels were great. We utilized the washer and dryer. The individuals above our condo were a bit loud. Foot steps mostly. I distinctly remember being awakened by 3 or 4 very hard footsteps three days into our stay at about 2 in the am. We did not complain to management. The WIFI does leave wondering and wanting more. We would stay again.

by Sahel (Airbnb) 2018-07-01

I stayed in one of Dee, David & Paul's condos with my family for about 2 months during which we felt like we are home. The condo is very comfortable and equipped with all you need, in the kitchen, the bathroom, and both bedrooms. The property is by Peachtree St. which is one of my favorite streets in ATL so basically you can walk everywhere; you're in the center of the city. The process of self check-in & out was very convenient. The host, Dee was very kind and attentive when we inquired about things and how to get around the city. There isn't a designated parking space but plenty of spots safely available within the complex. If I visit Atlanta again, I'll definitely stay in one of Dee's condos. Highly recommended.

by Erik (Airbnb) 2019-01-28

Dee, David & Paul we’re awesome. They had the perfect place for a last minute much needed vacation. They were so quick with response and willing to help accommodate everything. Couldn’t have been any happier to have stayed with them! Definitely recommend and will stay with them again for sure in the near future! Thanks for an amazing stay guys!

by Sarah (Airbnb) 2019-01-24

This is the perfect place, especially for a long term stay. I was there for almost 5 months for work and the condo has everything you need and more. The hosts are great, quick to respond if you have any questions. The weekly housekeeping is also a really nice touch and they do everything, including changing the bedsheets, which I appreciated having done weekly during my stay. The bed is really comfortable too. It’s definitely walkable to a lot of places to eat. The neighborhood was safe, I never had any issues. Great stay! I’ll be back.

Perfect Location

by Romain (HomeAway) 2017-05-08

This location is literally next to everything. The unit is very clean and modern. The beds are extremely comfortable. We were even allowed to check in early. I would definitely stay here again.

by Anthony (Hotels.com) 2018-05-01

Terrific condo, especially for the price compared to hotels in the area. We had much more room for less money. Having two bedrooms and a separate living room is great for a family getaway. Very well maintained. Easy check in /check out process.

by Anonymous (Hotels.com) 2018-06-14

Great apartment, good location, clean, modern, spacious. Ideal for traveling with kids as had 2 bedrooms. So much better than a hotel and cheaper too.
